Elisabeth Foley says, “The most beautiful discovery true friends make is that they can grow separately without growing apart.”

Keeping its traditions alive, Old Formanites Association Karachi recently organised a graceful and vibrant reunion dinner, at a local hotel, that was attended by the Formanites of various batches ranging from the 1957 batch graduates to 2016 batch graduates of the historic Forman Christian (FC) College, Lahore, Pakistan.

The senior most Alumni Dr. Khokhar (a graduate of the 1957 batch) was the Chief Guest at the occasion that witnessed many successful businessmen, socialites, serving and veteran Armed Forces and Civil Services Officers, scholars, educationists, authors and professionals.

All the members and their families got familiarised with one another and had a spree of brilliant moments for chit-chat and exchange of ideas.

In the end, the Chief Guest received college souvenir and bouquet presented by the association, and appreciated and thanked Mr. Hassan Hashim, Mr. Saghir Khan and their team for magnificently arranging this event that provided a great opportunity to all the Alumni for traveling down the memory lane and rejuvenating their spirits.

The families highly admired the smooth and well-organised flow of happenings and exclusively appreciated the quality and diversity of the food menu.

“The essence of nostalgia is an awareness that what has been will never be again.”
