Vet. Doctor saves life of 4 Newborn Persian kittens with Surgery

ISLAMABAD: A veterinary doctor saved life of four newborn Persian kittens on Saturday by carrying out their surgery. Our velvet black Persian cat _ Bailey gave birth to four kittens late Friday night. All the kittens started taking mother-feed soon after their mother clear their unnecessary skin.

When kittens are born, one by one, they are enveloped in a light skin with their shape like an egg. Mother-cat removes that skin by licking the kitten constantly, which enables her baby to move to the next stage _ start taking feed. Mother-cat does not give birth to next baby till the time she removes skin from the first one. She gave birth to two kittens at night and two in the early morning time on Saturday

However, when we woke up at morning, we found all the four kittens entangled with their removed skin. Kittens hands, legs and tails were entangled in the skin and they were not in a position to take mother-feed and just struggling to get rid of flesh.

We rushed to our veterinary doctor who carried out the surgery of kittens and saved their lives. Watch the video for further details _ it is very informative for pet-cat owners who can go through the similar painful situation.

NOTE: Doctor did not allow recording of some procedures of surgery as kittens were crying in pain.
