ISLAMABAD (PCNN): The National Assembly on Wednesday passed a resolution expressing deep concern over the heinous crimes being committed by the religious extremists against the Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar and killing of Rohinhyas.
Minister for Defence Production Rana Tanveer Hussain moved the resolution. The National Assembly strongly condemned the genocide of Rohingya Muslims and called upon the United Nations to stop human rights violations there.
The resolution called upon the government to use influence to put pressure on the Myanmar government to protect rights of the peaceful community of Rohingya Muslims and save their lives.
The NA also urged the Organisation of Islamic Countries (OIC) to deliberate the issue and take necessary action in the matter.
